Phalaenopsis are the perfect beginners orchid,
it grows indoors and outdoors  (of course no frost!) in shade

If you cut the flower spike below the last flower, after
blooming, it will grow another flower spike of it.
It is not uncommon to have a Phal in bloom for nine month at a time.

No water is allowed to be left standing in the heart of the plant,
that would surely kill the orchid.
Feed every two weeks with orchid fertilizer, and do not let the plant dry out.
