If you want to know a little bit
about me, then keep on reading this page.
Thats what a homepage is for. Well, why
a homepage, I guess it is the thing to do, everybody has one, right? It shows you a little
about me. You see in here, I like fantasy, dragons, fairies. I also like cooking,
gardening and relaxing with a good book.You can tell by the music on my site, I listen
to celtic tunes, overall mellow music, and a lot of Final Fantasy (<g> my boys
play that game way too much). I guess, I have too much free time on my hands.

That's how Moonfairye looked like,
when she started out in life. Quite a long time ago, in Bavaria, Germany. Yep, I was
brought up with dirndle-dresses, beer and oompa bands (blassmusic) :-)
Then, with 21, a crazy American GI swept me off my feet by swearing me everlasting love
while hanging off a 40 feet high bridge with NO water under it but some puddles and lots
of rocks. What else for me to do, but ask him for his car keys (in case he falls, I did
not want to walk home) and saying "yes" . So thats how I got to be in America
now. I do miss my home country, but a yearly vacation does help.
We do have two handsome boys and lots of animals to complete the family. |
| Time changes everything, including Moonfairyes. So
here is a picture of me how I look today. We live in Florida since about 9 years
now. Lots of sunshine here, and the gardening is different than in Germany, no
winter rest for the plants, and instead of apples, oranges hang on the trees. Lizards and
tree frogs are everywhere. And with them the snakes. It all balances out. Ocasionally I
have a turtle from the nearby lake visit my garden, the alligators stay out of sight,
though. |

I love animals, especially turtoises and turtles. I
guess, I should make a page just for them. I collect everything what has to do with these
animals, but no live ones. They do belong in the wild. Turtles need to be protected,
just as all animals need our protection.
